THAMES ROWING CHALLENGE 2023

14 Friends and family, 5 days, 4 skiffs and 85 miles of the Thames to row to raise money for BEWT

04/04/23

From 5th - 9th June 2023, 14 of Billie’s friends and family will complete a rowing challenge along the Thames to raise funds in Billie’s memory for the BEWT charity.

Over 5 days, we will row 85 miles along the Thames.

We’ll be travelling in 4 skiffs (traditional wooden rowing boats). The journey will start in Clifton Hampden (Clifton Lock) and end in Walton Bridge (Shepperton Lock). Most of us have no previous rowing experience and some days will need to row 20 miles to reach our finish line. We’re all in it together – so we will all pull through – it’s going to be very tough, but the end game is so worth it.

Please follow us on social media as we progress along the route. And if you happen to be close by, feel free to come and cheer us on!

Please give generously to this fundraising event to continue to support vital research into subarachnoid haemorrhage which tragically took Billie away from us at such a young age.
