Friends and family will walk Hadrian’s wall to raise money for BEWT

09/06/21

On June 9th 2021, 14 friends and family will attempt to walk from one side of England to the other along the route of Hadrian’s wall to raise funds for Billie’s trust. With ages ranging from 20 to 65, we will attempt to walk 20-25km each day for 6 days. We will be walking alongside the remains of the wall and visiting fortresses along the way, as we travel from Bowness-on-Solway in Cumbria to Segedunum Fort on the River Tyne in Newcastle, a total of 136km. You will be able to follow us on social media as we progress along the route.

Please give generously to this fundraising event to raise money for research into subarachnoid haemorrhage which so devastatingly took Billie away from us at such a young age. Little is known as to why this occurs and in particular what can be so fatal to women in their mid-twenties. Our aim is to raise funds to sponsor research into this area in particular in memory of Billie.
